This is JE Dunn’s second project with Southeast Toyota Distributors, the first being a new 300-acre, 12-building processing center located in Commerce, GA. The Commerce facility increased vehicle processing efficiency and associate engagement by prioritizing the incorporation of associate suggestions into the design plans – goals that align with Southeast Toyota Distributors’ mission for the new JAXPORT facility.

Southeast Toyota Distributor’s new JAXPORT processing center will consist of seven buildings totaling over 380,000 square feet, including a fuel island, on over 88 acres of land. The relocation and construction of the new processing facility is expected to generate nearly 1,000 jobs in the community.

The main building, the Accessory Installation Building, will be 272,000 square feet and will include office and amenity space. The location has an emphasis on associate experience which is evident through its full kitchen, cafeteria, locker rooms, accompanying fitness center, meeting and training rooms, and management offices.

The new JAXPORT facility will be capable of processing nearly 4,000 vehicles per week.

The $58.6 million project for Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools delivers a 241,651 SF, two-story instructional building on the existing 41.8-acre Jenkins campus, as well as new facilities for track and field, baseball, softball, tennis, and a field house, plus site work and demolition of existing structures.

The new Jenkins High School supports a full STEM curriculum and serves 1,375 students.

The expansion provided a three-story addition to the existing hotel, comprised of 63 new guest rooms, two elevators, and two interior courtyard areas. The project also included a 6,191-square-foot ballroom addition.

The building exterior includes old world stucco, exposed heavy timber beams, old world Spanish clay tiles, cast stone accents, mahogany wood doors and windows and aluminum railing with teakwood top caps. The interior is composed of Italian marble floors and ceilings in restrooms, marble tub decks, stained in place oak floors, exposed wood box beams in ceilings, three-piece wood crown molding throughout, two-piece base, solid wood doors and Rocky Mountain hardware. All finishes are five-star level.
