JE Dunn Construction Chief Legal Officer Tom Whittaker was named one of Ingram\u2019s C-Suite Awards winners for 2025.<\/p>\n
Ingram\u2019s yearly C-Suite Awards highlight executives who have been influential in helping grow some of Kansas City\u2019s most successful companies. The awards recognize senior leadership across several titles and disciplines, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief People Officer, and Chief Information Officer, and other titles related to those functions.<\/p>\n
Whittaker joined JE Dunn more than 30 years ago when the construction firm had just one attorney on staff. The role allowed Whittaker to continue blending his interests in construction, engineering, and law, and the company\u2019s principles and culture aligned with his own values.<\/p>\n
\u201cI could not have imagined the scope and breadth of matters I would become involved in when I started. My career has become more than helping people with legal issues and addressing risks in business,\u201d Whittaker said.<\/p>\n
His career transformation continued in 2010 when he was named JE Dunn\u2019s Chief Legal Officer.<\/p>\n
