This new 146,000-square-foot correctional facility was built to address overcrowding issues and to better serve the needs of the fastest growing county in Nebraska.
It includes 368 beds, a dedicated behavior health unit, space for educational and rehabilitative programs, video arraignment areas, as well as a secure connection that joins the new center to the Sarpy County Courthouse.
The correctional facility has four unique cell types, precast concrete, precast steel, CMU (concrete masonry unit), and welded tension metal wall panel.
